Offered by PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise
For women entrepreneurs in Ontario who are starting out or looking to take their business to the next level, PARO BIZCamps offer a structured and supportive way to build skills, confidence, and momentum. Delivered by the PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise, these programs are designed with underrepresented founders in mind, including BIPOC, Indigenous, 2SLGBTQIA+, Francophone, and other women who may face barriers to traditional business supports. Rather than a one-size-fits-all course, BIZCamps combine flexible online learning with collaborative group sessions and personalized guidance, allowing participants to work at their own pace while staying accountable to clear business goals.
Across different BIZCamp streams, participants focus on practical outcomes such as refining their business idea, identifying market opportunities, expanding into new markets, and strengthening financial and operational planning. One-on-one support from PARO business counsellors and industry experts plays a central role, helping entrepreneurs turn ideas into viable plans and prepare for growth. Some cohorts are tailored to specific communities, including programs created by and for Indigenous women, ensuring the learning environment reflects lived experience and shared challenges.
Beyond education, PARO BIZCamps can also connect participants to funding support, with opportunities that may reach up to $50,000 for businesses meeting certain requirements. With cohorts offered on an ongoing basis and some programs region-specific, exploring the full details can help determine which BIZCamp aligns best with your business goals.
